Samuel U.Iruobe is a fellow of the Institute of information Management, Africa.He started his professional career at Money Card Limited as a Marketing Executive in 1988, He moved on to Citibank Nigeria in October 1989 as an Operations Assistant.His over fourteen years banking experience spans various aspects of banking operations as Branch Coordination, General Internal Services and Internal controls departments as Quality Assurance Officer of the bank at various intervals.
Samuel has MBA in Mannagement, MSC in Finance and a BSc in Economics. He is a certified trainer as accomplished banker and a document controllery/specialist.He is a conference speaker a Bible School (WOFBI) lecturer and a minister of the gospel with the living Faith Church.(Winners Chapel,Canaan Land, Ota, Africa). He is a man of utmost integrity with the fear of God as his main driving force.
He has certifications from professional bodies as the Nigeria Institute of Training and Development (NITAD), The Centre for Management and Development (CMD for management trainings) and the Institute of information Management, Africa.
Samuel has attended several conferences and trainings on Human Resources Development, Archive & Records Management as well as ICT Training.He has also attended several exhibitions on Information and Records Management.
On leaving Citibank in November 2003, he co-founded GOLDEN SCEPTER LIMITED; a management consulting firm with local content and international outlook with his managing partner. Golden Scepter Limited has sice stamped her foot on his part of African as the dominant force to be reckoned with in information, Records and Archive Management solutions; with various award to back it up from corporate organizations in recognition of her excellent professional services rendered.Golden Scepter Ltd has worked virtually.in all aspects of archiving and records management. Our trade has taken us out of the shore of Nigeria to execute projects.
Golden Scepter Limited was adjudged and awarded the BEST INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION MANAGEMENT CORPORATE MEMBER OF THE YEAR 2015 in recognition of her consistent and outstanding performance in the Information Management Industry in Nigeria on 19th March 2016.
He worked for four years in practical constructio both as a site engineer and project management levels before joining Nigeria International Bank in 1987 as the premises supervisor in the General Internal Services Department.Also in General Internal Services Department, he handled other responsibilities as contract staff management, protocol, Insurance and shipment clearing etc.
He later worked in other sections of the operations including Head of Clearing unit, Cash officer of the Head office branch-Citibank:Branch manager of the Apapa branch of the bank: Head of records and reconciliation units of the Internal Control Department where he left as a Manager. His experience in the banking industry spans oer seventeen years.He was involved in the opening of several branches of the bank nation-wide.
Folarin has MBA in Technology Management (Ogu State University); Certificate in Project management (University of Lagos); Hardware Diploma in Network Engineering (NIIT).He also attended several courses in finance, management and record management while in the bank.He also won many awards including management perfomance and innovation awards while with the bank.
